Diner Club at our house!
Every Tuesday, my mom has a diner club. Every week, the theme is a different country and a is at different house; but this time it is at our house and the theme is Norway. This week's dinner club was exceptional. Apart from the delicious food (which I will talk about later) we also did White Elephant which, if you have never heard of, is where first, everyone makes a present, then they all get mixed together and every one gets a number to determine what order you get your present in. Except for the first person, on their turn, everyone gets the choice to either steal someone else's present or open one. I was the first one to open a present and i got a puzzle but I stole a present and got a birthday notebook and a set of 3D glitter pens.
Now lets go back to the food (which was mostly fish). There was a huge variety of options including, but not limited to, cooked salmon, raw salmon, fish cake, and spinach with cheese. At the end, there were also cookies with white and blue frosting on them. My persona favorite was the salmon. Right before dinner, all the little kids made a show for everyone. Most of them just played the piano but it was fun. Though they never really finished since the adults were so anxious to eat. Overall, the night was very fun and I am looking forward to next week's!
